SuperK is a well-funded early-stage startup that offers a full-stack solution to empower small format retail stores in Tier 2 and below towns. SuperK is rebranding existing small format retail stores and providing them with the benefits of procurement, tech systems, intelligence, and marketing at scale to create a chain of mini supermarkets. Some parallels can be drawn to how Oyo has transformed the small hotel industry, Medplus & Apollo have changed pharma retail and BigC & others have changed offline mobile buying.
About the role
You will lead the growth charter at SuperK, this would need you to build and execute various strategies to help the growth of our store network and help our existing stores grow their business.
You will work closely with the Founders and develop a fully integrated marketing strategy for the business. You will also oversee marketing, communications and public relations efforts And use analytics to identify suitable channels for targeted customers, and review marketing activities and the return on investment (ROI).
What you will be doing
Lead marketing, strategy, messaging, content, PR and social media – internally, and fostering relationships with external partners
Own and lead customer acquisition and retention strategy across all channels
Track and organize a robust system for data analytics and KPIs
Brand building through meaningful storytelling, groundbreaking campaigns, and effective marketing
Create and own the GTM strategy for new products and features
Be a steward of the Brand internally and externally
Create and execute affiliate, content and influencer strategies with a focus on developing, contributing to, and sustaining a movement focused on our brand’s mission.
Manage all agency relationships
Build and lead a 3-4 member team of highly passionate marketing experts
What we would like to see in you
6+ years experience in leading marketing & growth at a fast-growth startup
Deep understanding of marketing channels and methods across both performance marketing and brand building
Strong experience in growing brands across both offline and digital channels
Prefer candidates with some experience in FMCG brand marketing
Highly analytical and data-driven mindset
Comfortable owning and being held accounting for business outcomes
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Comfortable with ambiguity
Ability to think big picture while being focused on the details
Self-starting, entrepreneurial mindset and strong work ethic
